About Hogwood Crafts

Hello, I'm Steve! Hogwood Crafts started with a redundancy letter at the end of 2025.

I could have gone back to business as usual. Instead I turned a lifelong passion for woodwork into a full-time job, and set up a workshop here in Cumbernauld.

Every piece you see is designed, made, finished and packed by me. Nothing is mass-produced, nothing is outsourced, and if you message the shop, it's me who replies.

I work in solid and reclaimed timber, including oak staves rescued from Scottish whisky barrels and I choose every board by hand. The result is furniture and homeware with real character, built to last years rather than seasons.
